this result means George is the overall winner of the Junior competition

In what was described as a "defrosting quagmire" Vince confirmed his overall win in the 40-45 vets category & George emphasised why he ended as best junior after a long season

In this E/1/2 season opener which historically is ridden by a lot of the top riders Ben Stockdale was 1st Junior & 34th overall , considering how active he was in the race & the quality of the field it was a fantastic result

In some of this winters worst storms Ben Stockdale finished safely in what became a battle against the hills & elements

Vince 11th , Ben & George finished safley in the bunch after George had been swept up towards the end of this fast race having been in the winning break.Jack finished just behind the bunch having cramped up
Ben won the first prime & I feel was unlucky not to be awarded most agressive rider of the day

A small but strong field saw this race flat out from the off. Martin won the bunch sprint for 6th as the race fragmanted
Jack Hibberd did well until closing laps when his knee injury caused him to suffer from the numerous accelarations.

A consisitent ride by George saw him finish 19th Overall against the pick of the top britsh juniors & some good european riders . Ben had a weekend to forget after breaking his chain in one of the early stages.

on the saturday only the sprint & kilometre titles were decided for the junior & senior riders along with first two races for the vets category.
the 20kms/individual pursuit & team pursuit were postponed due to rain on the sunday.

A very hard wet race in this season long competition against the best of the british talent saw Ben Stockdale take a fantastic 4th place & Dom Jelfs 7th . both of these riders are now closing in on 1st Category Status .

03-06/10/07 NATIONAL TRACK CHAMPS : Manchester
A great week for the team with Dominic riding the points race ( made the final ) & scratch race ( was in fastest heat & was 11th with only 10 through ) considering he is a junior again in 2008 we have high hopes for him in the future
Team Sprint : Qual 6th ( 50.822 sec PB ) Jack Hibberd did a storming 19.7 opening lap to set up a personal best for the team with Martin Osman going 2nd & Dom Jelfs going 3rd. We juggled the team order in the ride off & went only slightly slower at 50.928 meaning we ended 6th overall
Team Pursuit : Qual 5th ( 4-42.724 PB ) a fantastic improvement including Ben Stockdale's two lap turn ! awesome
The team of Ben , Dom, Martin & Jack rode for 5th Place & riding to a very quick schedule caught their opposition after 9 laps . We ended 5th against some very good opposition & already we are planning how we can improve next year
