probably the coldest time trial i have ever been to. never above 2degC all day .

26/03/05 Victoria Park circuit Races , Chris Morris , Rich Deeley & Nick Walford
In both races all three riders tried to get away in breaks etc but were heavily marked
In race two Chris was away on his own for 8 laps but was caught with two laps to go
however he won 2 primes in the process.

02/04/05 Bike Show circuit races - Coventry ,
Martin Osmans first bunch race for 2 years . had a bad start ( grid position ) & ended up in a small group behind winning group . Rob Bishop had mechanical problem & also ended up in a chasing group

03/04/05 Royal Sutton Hilly TT( ctt-rudy project series) Rich Deeley 6th .
another mechanical problem blighted our weekend this time for Nick Walford whose freehub broke not long after the start.
09/04/05 Victoria Park circuit races ** WINNER NICK WALFORD
Nick solo'd to victory on a very windy morning to win by approx 10 seconds
the team of Chris Morris,Rob Bishop & Richard Deeley rode superbly the whole race controlling all the breaks & managing to get into every move
Nick went away initially at the end of 1st lap & lasted 9 of the 30 laps before being swept up.he went again at 10 laps to go & stayed away. Richard finished 7th in the sprint for 2nd.

an excellent ride in a very tough event. would he have been 2nd if he hadn't unshipped his chain?

Rob Bishop took his chance in a group that got away towards the end & sprinted in for 3rd, Rich Deeley did his bit in controlling the main bunch
23/04/05 Stourbridge CC 10mile TT .Chris Morris 10th ( 21-47 )
in an absolute top class field chris did a super fast ride on the salford priors course. Nick Walford also rode
24/04/05 Crewe Clarion 10m TT. Rich Deeley 11th
A lot of the north wests top riders were here trying to get a qualifying ride for next months national champs to be held on this course.
24/04/05 Beacon RCC Little Mountain 39m TT ( ctt - rudy project series )Chris Morris 5th
a superb ride in what has to be one of the hardest time trials in the country. Chris now has 2 district qualifying rides in this national series

24/04/05 Birmingham CC Circuit Races:Martin Osman 3rd(1/2cat race)Rob Bishop 3rd(3cat race)
Two superb rides again on a busy weekend for the team . Rob now has nearly upgraded back to a second category license.Both races ended up with breakaway groups & on both occasions we got a rider in the move

an off day for Richard who was disappointed with his time of 23.59,Nick Walford DNS( illness)
30/04/05 Manchester Wheelers MM25mile TT : WINNER ROB BISHOP 1.01.17
on a tough cheshire course rob did a PB to win the middlemarkers event by 59seconds
01/05/05 Hirwaun Wheelers 25mile TT : Chris Morris 8th
Chris's 54.17 ride gave him a PB for 25miles,proving what a great asset he is to the team.
08/05/05 Eddie Soens memorial track meeting:Manchester
Rob Bishop scored enough points to upgrade to 2nd category license.( 4th in scratch race & 3rd in points race)

14/05/05 Bath CC 10mile TT : Nick Walford 3rd,Richard Deeley 8th & Martin Osman 13th
on a fast course in wiltshire , the weather couldn't have been much worse for time of the year,cold & windy meant most riders went back approx 2mins on previous best times
15/05/05 Speedwell mt TT 36miles ( CTT Rudy Project district round ) : Chris Morris 8th
another solid performance towards his overall placing in this season long competition

with the wind & course change it was always going to be hard to do good times.Most Riders went back 2 mins on previous best times .Nick also had the pleasure of a hail storm when he rode

qualifying round of team pursuit after the event ! chris,stef,rich,nick,rob,martin & james
an amazing days racing & we were told unofficially fastest midlands team for 20years on an open track for the team pursuit . Our aim was this year to beat 5mins(30mph)outdoors & we did that in qualifying .In the final the heat of the day & windier conditions combined with 7 hours of racing meant we failed to improve on the time set earlier. Apart fro Martin winning the omnium (best overall combined),Nick was 4th,Rich 5th & Rob 7th.

Martin Osman did the Sprint double at Welwyn on Friday 1st July he won the sprint & on the following day added the Kilo title

Chris's first back race after summer break & what a tough event. top 20 against the best british time triallists puts him close to the top 20 overall in this season long series.
13&14/08/05 Dudley International GP ( Halesowen )
No racing on the saturday because of rain meant a reduced programme on the sunday
No wins or placings but a few good events to get Martin, James & Nick back into competition
16/08/05 Bicester Millenium 10 ( RAF Weston, Oxon ) Chris Morris 9th & Rich Deeley 17th
a strange 10mile TT in which it is 4x2.5laps around RAF Weston..no traffic assistance here !
27/08/05 Newport Open Track ( Newport S.Wales ) Martin Osman 3rd in Sprinters League,
Rob Bishop 6th points race
James Cunningham also rode.Martin rode with the intention of shaking off the virus he has had for 2 weeks & ended up 3rd in the Sprinters League round

A pleasing return to from for Richard who is looking to a couple of fast courses in the next few weeks

Richard was looking for a fast time but weather was not great .

a first for MJS with our first international outing.Whilst not at his best with a virus,still made top 10 in this very popular event

although he did not ride every week Martin still did enough to finish second overall.
10/09/05 ABC Centreville 10mile TT ( cheshire ) Rob Bishop 25.41 . 24th place
was meant to be a 25 but roadworks meant it was shortened. another tough cheshire course
12/09/05 WORLD MASTERS TRACK CHAMPS ( MANCHESTER )
Martin Osman was 6th in Kilometre TT. despite not being at his best due to illness Martin did us proud in the kilometre of which he is current national masters champion
17/09/05 VC Sevale 10mile TT ( Worcester ) : Nick Walford 5th 22.48
a good solid result on this tough local course. Martin Osman 25.06 ...& quote "don't do hills!"
17/09/05 Andover Wheelers 10mile TT : Richard Deeley 22.12
a long journey down to Hampshire paid off as Richard did a seasons best time
17/09/05 Stone Wheelers 25mile TT( staffordshire ) : Rob Bishop 59.33
A personal best for Rob. what more can you add given the lateness in the season.
18/09/05 Warwick Town Centre Races : 3/J race . Richard Deeley.
a good solid ride by Richard finishing in one of the fragmenting bunches.

good solid results mean James is on course for a good national champs
06/10/05 National Track Championships : Manchester : 6th Place
Martin , James, Nick & Rob rode two team pursuits in a small but very high class event on day 4 of the national championships . Whilst we went marginally slower in the ride off in the evening we rode much better as a unit

07/10/05 National Track Championships : Manchester :5th Place
The trio of Nick, Martin & James did us proud in what was a bonus event for us .after qualifying we changed the order round & improved over half a second , whilst that doesn't sound much at this level it is a big improvement
