July 10:Rob finishes 5th in the Scratch race at Master Champs (see results page)

June 10: MJS have got two teams into the national 3up team time trial championships at the start of july.

             WIN on the track for the team, check out the results page.

May 10:Matt records a new personal best for a 10 miles with 20.59!

             Its now two months till the National 3up championships,this is the main focus for the team.

April 10: Matt sets a new personal best for a 25mile time trial, knocking nearly 3minutes of his old time with 53.42, and Nick sets the pace for 10miles so far this season.

March 10: Most of the team have been in action in the local Midlands SPOCO series and some criteriums.

February 10: The 2010 racing season is underway,check out the teams first result! on the results page.

January 10: The team gets together for a long distance training ride and also introduce the new riders Matt Nicholls and Simon Darrall to team time trial training on the alcester-evesham bypass

January 10: Matthew Nicholls, Simon Darrall and former rider Rob Bishop are the new additions to the 2010 squad.

January 09: A great start to the year with Tom our youngest rider getting the teams 1st win.

September 08: After a couple of quiet months the team do a storming ride to secure a National Bronze medal in the team pursuit.

June 08 : With A- levels & degree exams racing is quiet. However first track session of the year goes well & team are looking well matched.

May 08 : Steady results continue. George is first rider in 08 to do a 21minute 10.

April 08 : Dominic Jelfs leaves Team.

February 08: Ben gets the teams first individual win of the year at Upavon.

January 08: Team meeting is held & everyone now has their new kit. See various pics on website.

                   Vince does us proud at national cross champs. Ben scores our first road points of the season & Dom gets to ride with GB at Interland track meeting in Holland.

                   Continental Tyres come on board as a new sponsor & we have our first delivery from them.

 

December 07: Ben receiving the Ben Jeffery Award for talented young sports person in Gloucestershire.

November 07: Final sponsor added for 2008 . CATLIKE HELMETS via NEMEMIS . Watch this space for some product reviews.

October 07: First the good news TWO new sponsors added for 2008 onwards, Independent Chauffeur Services Ltd & Echelon Cycles in Pershore, Worcestershire . The other good news is that Ross Dingley is joining                     us for 2008 & hopefully he will add to our squad particularly for the team events.

                    The bad news is Jack Hibberd has left MJS Racing to concentrate on his studies in Northampton to become a paramedic . We wish him all the best & thank him for his enthusiasm & efforts in last two years.

October 07: Road & track season concludes with 5th place in national team pursuit & 6th place in team sprint.

                    Personal bests in both rounded off a fantastic road & track season. Cyclo cross is now underway & Vince Page has an early lead in his category in WMCCL.

September 07: Training for national track champs going well.including 2 indoor sessions & racing at Welsh Open Team Pursuit.

                       MJ Sections & IFP Insurance are to continue as sponsors for next three years & 2 or 3 more sponsors likely to be added for 2008. Team will have one extra rider for 2008 & Rich Deeley will be back full                        time with us.

August 07: A break from racing at the start of the month as team builds up for second part of the season.

                   The team line up is now finalised for 2008, and a new sponsor is added for next three 3years .

July 07: Regional track champs.12 golds( inc 4 for team pursuit) 4 silver & 3 bronze.... i can say no more than check out results page.

June 07:  A good start to the month with some great times in training at the track & Dom finishing 2nd in the Regional Div Jun RR.

              Dom wins at the Jean Baker memorial RR.

May 07:  The month ends with MJS riders lying 1st 2nd & 3rd ovearall at the FNTL.

April 07: Phil White after a long break from the sport joins MJS Racing.

              Ben Stockdale wins 1st Stage of Rockingham 2 day & finishes 2nd overall.

March 07: The Road/TT & track season begins with a nice steady start to our results.

February 07: WMCCL. George Bate wins overall junior title & Vince Page is 2nd Vet ( winner of 40-44cat ).

January 07: As the cross season draws to its conclusion the focus now turns to the road & track .A team meeting is held to establish the race programme for 2007. Dominic finishes Revolution series by being on                       the winning West Mids team in the future stars event. He also rides for GB in Holland. First few road events are now just a few weeks away.

November 06: 3rd Junior added for 2007. Ben Stockdale. His ambitions for 2007 are national junior road series.

                       As November ends Dom wins his 1st 2 Races at Newport TL for MJS.

                       Vince & George still both leading their categories in WMCCL.

November 06: NEW LINE UP FOR 2007 ANNOUNCED.

                        Dominic Jelfs & George Bate are added to the team. Dominic is currently on the Great Britain Talent Team.

                        George was previously on the squad. Check back soon to see their profiles.

                         Team still looking at adding another rider before start of next season.

November 06: After 5th round of the West Mids Cyclo Cross League, Vince Page is leading his category.

October 06:  Cyclo Cross season is now well underway for some of our riders.

                     Team is looking for new riders for 2007.

October 06: Road & Track season concludes with National Track Champs at Manchester.

September 06: Jack completes the Junior Omnium Series & finishes 2nd Overall.

                        One of the BIG objectives of the year, the regional track champs are cancelled, see the results page.

                        Just the National Track champs to go in early October.

August 06: Track training well underway with a team pursuit session at Halesowen.

                 Jack Hibberd rides national junior track champs at Newport.

August 06: Preparations continuing for end of season targets. Hoping to announce a couple of new riders for 2007 shortly.

July 06: Jack Hibberd wins European Junior Cycle Speedway title riding for his speedway team Sandwell CSC.

July 06: James Cunnigham leaves MJS Racing>

April 06: Chris Morris leaves the team.We wish him well in the future.

April 06: Dates finally set for regional track champs. They are the1st & 2nd of September at Wolverhampton.

April 06: This month sees us stepping up the events including the Good Friday meeting at Herne Hill.

March 06: Racing starts. A low key start to the season and a bit later than 2005 given our target events are later this year.

                 Weekend of the18/19th brings us all together for some group training & new pictures etc.Keep an eye on the website.

February 06: Jack Hibberd joins  the team. He was previously a member of the Halesowen C& AC. Good luck to Jack from all the team. Jack also rides Cycle Speedway for Sandwell CSC.

January 06: Discussions taking place to bring a well known junior on board for 2006.

October 05: National Track Champs Manchester.The end of a long season. Check out the results page for details & pictures.

September 05: Vince Page joins team for 2006. Vince has a wealth of experience particularly on the road & will add a new dimension to the team for next year.

September 05: Final preparations for the national team sprint and team pursuit are underway with riders entering races as diverse as grass track!

                       Martin rode at the world master track champs and Chris rode a 2 up time trial in france. Racing will cease for the season after the National Champs in early October.

August 05: September will be a busy month for the team. Loads of events entered and serious preperations for the Nationals.

                 Chris will be riding the Duo Normand in France & Martin The World Masters in Manchester. Watch this space.

August 05: After a break for most of the riders we have started entering events again in preparations for National Track Champs in October.

August 05: James Cunningham cleared to start racing again.

July 05: Rob & Becci's wedding. All the MJS riders in one place at the same time!

July 05: Martin Osman wins TWO National Masters titles at Welwyn. Check out the results page.

June 05: Regional track champs, TEAM GOLD (Team pursuit), 3 INDIVIDUAL GOLDS. Check out the results page.

May 05: James Cunningham breaks his collarbone at Newcastle Track League. He is out of regional track champs.

April 05: First individual WIN. Nick wins at Victoria Park circuit race.

March 05: First WIN A team prize in a time trial.

January 05: Launch Night at The Sports Cafe, Birmingham. Thanks to Roger Shayes for acting as Master of ceremonies for the evening and thanks to Kwik Travel for providing a holiday as an auction prize,

                  Also thanks to Terry Hughes & all the other supporters who bought glitz to the evening!
