12/02/06 West Mids Cyclo Cross League - Wolverhampton: round 12

FINAL EVENT - Overall Winner of Junior category Jack Hibberd ( 6th place at Wolverhampton in V/J/W race ) .Vince Page 15th Overall in senior category ( 13th place at Wolverhmpton )

05/03/06 Darley Moor - Jack was 15th ( & 1st junior ) in the E/1/2 race.

a good solid ride by Jack in typical ( windy ) Darley Moor conditions

11/03/06 Nova 2 up 25 (Cheshire) - Rich Deeley & Rob Bishop 10th

a lovely start to the season for these two. 3 deg celsius,windy & a hint of sleet in the air. a typical British TT day

12/03/06 Evesham Vale RR -  Vince Page & Jack Hibberd

Vince finished in the bunch & Jack ended up wrong side of a crash & had to chase to get back on.

25/03/06 Kenilworth Wh. Crits ( Victoria Park , Leaminghton Spa )

All 4 riders very active in both races. Chris proving to be very strong in his first races of the year, getting across on his own to the break in race 1 .

Vince wins bunch sprint - However there are a dozen up the road in the break ! Rich finishes safley in the bunch

26/03/06 Elizabethan Hilly 21m TT - Shropshire ( Chris Morris 4th )

Just 19 seconds sepearated the top 4 in one of the midlands toughest time trials.Chris showing the later start in '06 has not affected him with a great weekend for him

02/04/06 Royal Sutton 10mile TT - (Nick Walford 9th & Richard Deeley 13th )

A very windy morning on a slow course.

02/04/06 Stan Jones RR - Shropshire

Vince Page finished in the bunch in this tough event.

08/04/06 Kenilworth Wh. Crits ( Victoria Park , Leaminghton Spa )

Richard Deeley also rode. Vince continued his comeback in style again with two more point scoring rides.

In the supporting race Vince continues his early season impressive form

Jack was also 2nd overall in the winter sprinters competion

14/04/06 Herne Hill Good friday meeting

James Cunningham ( handicap final ) Martin Osman ( 2nd place : Mile )& Rob Bishop rode

considering quality of the field our riders did well in what is still an early season event for them

14/04/06 Chippenham Wheelers Circuit races : Castle Coombe

Richard Deeley rode & finished in or around 20th in a 90+ rider field

15/04/06 Stratford 10m TT ( Alcester )

Vince page 23-06 & Richard Deeley 23-21 .

22/04/06 Kenilworth Wheelers Crits ( Victoria park : Leamington Spa )

In Both races Vince & Richard were active but failed to get into any move which stayed away . Both races they finished safely in the bunch

23/04/06 Birmingham CC circuit races : Solihull

In 3rd Cat Race Richard was particuarly active going in a few breaks which never suceeded

In 1st & 2nd Cat Race which was a very damp affair Jack & Martin finished in the bunch with Martin finishing on a slow puncture

A good solid start to the series for Jack.

06/05/06  National Junior Omnium Series : Welwyn G C : Jack Hibberd 2nd

Jack was 2nd when the rain came down at Welwyn .

13/05/06 Warwickshire RC 10m TT ( Salford Priors ) : Richard Deeley 22.35, Martin Osman DNF

good solid ride from Richard who was off early in this event which towards the end had monsoon conditions.

14/05/06 National Junior Omnium Series : Brighton : Jack Hibberd eq2nd

Another good result for Jack who has hopefully now done enough in the 3 rounds so far to have qualified for the Final

07/06/06 Concorde RR : Wishaw : Vince Page 4th

after his recent quiet period following illness Vince is back with a bang finishing 4th in the bunch sprint in the first of the midweek Concorde Road race series

another solid result on a very hot day .Vince is now very close to his 2nd cat license.

solid result again for Vince, a result which takes him upto his 2nd Catgory license.

24/06/06 Corinium CC 10 : Swindon : Richard Deeley 21.42 .12th place

Richard Deeley was within 2 seconds of his personal best . fastest 10 by anyone in the team so far this year.

28/06/06 Echelon Cycles 10 : Salford Priors : Richard Deeley 22.45 , Martin Osman 24.02

A fantastic result for Jack who was 7th overall in the senior omnium . this is a fantastic stepping stone given he is still a junior

Vince finished safely in the bunch ....knackered ( so he tells me )

a very hard & windy evening saw them secure a top 10 spot in an event we will be coming bcak to ride again

Vince picked himself up after a crash to get off to a strong start in the WMCCL.Rider & Bike are doing fine !

06/10/06 Team Sprint : National track champs : Manchester : 9th place

Team of Nick Walford, Martin Osman & Jack Hibberd recorded a team personal best of 51.147 seconds

07/10/06 Team Pursuit : National Track Champs : Manchester : Q11th

a disappointing qualifying round of 4-51.838 meant we rode off against local rivals Solihull CC in round 2

after catching Solihull CC the team went on to record a time of 4-48-500.

A day Vince would rather forget for punctures & mechanical issues.

A good day For Vince who had a troublefree ride to finish 5th in hard muddy conditions

a very fast vets/juniors race saw Vince have to pick his way through at the start to try & defend his overall lead in the competition , he was hampered by a crash mid race in which he hurt his shoulder.

Jack rode strongly in a very competitve senior race after a two week well earned break.

Strong results also in the scratch races also means that Dom helps West Mids stay at the top of the rankings in this 4 race series

A win in the junior category means George retains top slot in the junior category & Vince moves back to the top of his category.

16/12/06 Hillingdon Winter Series : Hillingdon ( West Loindon ) E/1/2/3/4/J race

Ben Stockwell : bunch finish .

George enjoyed his birthday by winning the junior category of this very popular event and pocketing a nice few quid for doing so.
